    Lt General Vijay Lall, PVSM, AVSM, ADC Class of 1958

    The General is a decorated soldier who served the Indian Army for over four decades. He was awarded by the Hon'ble President of India twice for distinguished services and by the Chief of Army Staff during his career. Besides, was responsible in getting the Golden Peacock National Training Award by the Hon'ble Dy. Prime Minister of India for the College of Materials Management- a premier military training institution. He is a specialist in ammunition and explosives technology and holds a master’s degree in supply chain management. He superannuated as Director General Ordnance Services and Senior Colonel Commandant-AOC. During his distinguished career, he had the privilege to command a foreign army unit and some of the various adjunct positions held by him were: Dean of Management, Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, President of Cantonment Board in the Pune District, Maharashtra. After relinquishing his olive greens, General Lall was on the Board of Directors of a large pan-India-corporate-hospitals-group for over a decade.

    Batch of 1966, is a pioneer in bringing laboratory services in India at par with the western world. He has led “Dr. Lal Path Labs” towards the path of enormous success. He has been conferred with a Padma Shri and is the first civilian doctor to be granted an honorary Brigadier rank in the armed forces.

    Batch of 1968 is a pioneer in the field of intraocular lens implantation surgery. He has over 30,000 implant surgeries to his credit. He has been bestowed with a Padma Bhushan for his excellence in the field of medicine.

    Batch of 1976 is a Judge at the Delhi High Court. He has served as a treasurer of the Delhi High Court bar association. He has been invited to several international seminars and workshops and is known for is incisive judgements and his yeomen service to the cause of justice.

    Batch of 1980, is the CEO of Deutsche Bank, India. He is the head of coverage for global markets and was instrumental in building a dominant flow franchise, to compliment the platform’s structured product capabilities. He is one of the pioneers of telecom financing in India.

    Batch of 1989, is the group editor with NDTV. She was one of the youngest recipients of Padma Shri and has won many other prestigious awards in her illustrious career. She emerged as a household name with her frontline reporting on the Kargill conflict between India and Pakistan in 1999. She is among the most eminent journalists in India.
