    LATE DR. BHARAT RAM

    Batch of 1930, He joined Delhi Cloth and General Mills Co Ltd. in 1935 and rose to the position of Chairman and Managing Director in 1958. He was an integral part of many organisations including the FICCI, ICC and Indian Airlines. He was conferred with the prestigious Padma Bhushan in 1972 for his significant contribution to the country.

    LATE DR. MINOO SHROFF

    Batch of 1938, He specialised in Ophthalmology from Oxford Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He served as the President of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society. He rendered services at Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital first as its Chief Medical Officer and later as Surgeon Emeritus.

    LATE AIR MARSHAL MAN MOHAN SINGH Vr.C, PVSM, AVSM

    Batch of 1946, He was commissioned in the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force in January 1951. During the 1971 war, his squadron flew 110 sorties and met all its operational commitments without damage to any of its aircraft. He has held important Command and Staff appointments, including Air Officer-in-Charge Personnel at Air Headquarters and finally AOC-in-C Western Air Command.

    MR. BHAWANI SHANKER

    Batch of 1949, Upon completing LLB from Delhi University, he held the post of Honorary Magistrate 1st class. In 1963, he launched the iconic Amba Cinema and in 1990 he built the Amba Deep building, one of the tallest buildings in Lutyens Delhi. He sponsored- The Rai Bahadur Amba Prasad Physics & Chemistry Lab at Modern School Barakhamba Road.

    VICE ADMIRAL (Retd.) KAILASH KOHLI, PVSM, AVSM

    Batch of 1956, He got commissioned in the Indian Navy in 1960. He commissioned and commanded India’s most modern Guided Missile Frigate INS and commanded the prestigious Western Fleet of the Navy. His exceptional dedication earned him the post of ViceAdmiral, designated Director General of the Indian Coast Guard and the Vice Chief of the Naval Staff.

    Batch of 1959, At the age of 24, while stationed at Jammu he caused the maximum possible damage to the enemy.     Batch of 1965, An Indian academician, he is most known as the founder of SPIC MACAY. He earned the title, Professor Emeritus at IIT Delhi. He is the recipient of several awards including the Sahitya Kala Parishad Award and Rajiv Gandhi National Sadbhavana Award. He was conferred with the Padma Shri in 2009 for his contribution to the field of arts.

    Batch of 1972, He earned MPhil and DPhil from Oxford University, UK. He is a Fellow at several universities including Harvard University. He was the Director of the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) from 2007-2014.     Batch of 1973, After completing a physics degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he earned a degree in Graphic Design from Yale University in 1979. His work has been showcased in individual and group shows around the world and in some of the prominent museums. He co-curated the Sahmat retrospective exhibition, which opened at the Smart Museum, the University of Chicago.

    Batch of 1995, She won Gold in open bench-press and a bronze medal in bench-press powerlifting Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship in 2017. In 2019 she won 1 silver & 1 bronze medal at the National Bench-press Championship, 2 gold medals at the State Benchpress Championship and a silver medal at the Delhi State Powerlifting Competition.

    Batch of 2010, He started his journey as a para-athlete in 2010 at the Asian Para Games in Guangzhou. At the age of 19, he became the World No. 1 in the High Jump event, Malaysian Open Para Athletics Championship. He won the Gold in the 2018 Para Asian Games Jakarta and the Bronze Medal at Tokyo Paralympics, 2021. He is a recipient of the prestigious Arjuna Award, 2021.
